When you get a chance to work with the brands you love and are religiously loyal to it is very special indeed. I’ve been flying CONTINENTAL AIRLINES for years, a proud card carrying Platinum member. In fact, seats 14A and 14F between New York and Bogota should be reupholstered in Zemoga green since Alejo and I have used them so often they seem to be retaining a bit of our…shall I say contours.
So you can imagine how delighted we are to ‘merge” CONTINENTAL into the Z roster of valued clients. We’ve been developing the air-transportation giant’s social media strategy and one of the most visible results of this is their newly launched Facebook page with some cool functionality. We developed applications for the airline that include polling, flight search, Twitter integration and a brand new travel advice app that lets travelers find the best place to eat, stay and explore in locales around the world (while also leveraging their social network). We also have some cool additional functions in development for Phase 2 that will even more effectively change the game and use Social Networking to effectively drive revenue.
You can check out some of these new features on Continental’s Facebook Page, And don’t be surprised if you see a couple of green seats on your next trip to Bogota from Newark (regardless of the Airline’s name).
