Recently I had the honor of moderating a few panels at SXSW and at The Interactive Festival of Cannes in France. The panels and presentations with clients and partners like YouTube and Undertone where about the changing expectations of consumers and how responsive design is a critical component, especially for advertisers looking to engage consumers across devices. I also had the honor of being invited to the Bogota Chamber of Commerce event to speak about Fostering Innovation. The event was kicked off by no-other than the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, and he is a hard act to follow for sure. Over 1200 entrepreneurs, from all over the region got a first hand look on how we at Zemoga generate and socialize innovation, and the process for doing it effectively. It was a pretty engaged audience and being able to share how we at Zemoga foster innovation from Colombia to such a large audience was an honor.
Another honor of sorts was the fact that P Diddy showed up at the Cannes Party that SoDA threw in Cannes this year. As the Vice Chairman of SoDA, the world’s most respected professional organization of digital innovators, I guess that means we made an impact. I do think it is worth mentioning, Mr. Combs was not originally on the guest list, although he did make it past security. Here is a video of him complaining that we woke him up from behind the DJ booth which he quickly took over.
