What can I say about Zemoga? For starters, they have one of the coolest offices that I’ve ever seen. Starting with the green sailfish, the glass framed offices, and the various knick-knacks scattered around, the office oozes sophistication blended together with a progressive coolness and spiced up with a pinch of child-like innocence. It is in this wonderland that I have been working for the last few days, and boy have I worked.
For the most part, I’ve been providing research for a brochure on Bogota and looking into ecommerce applications. Now, I’ve done plenty of research for school and the problem with these assignments is that I find I do not particularly enjoy the topics I am researching, but the research that I’ve done at Zemoga manages to keep me motivated because it feels like every little fact plays an important role in securing the success of the projects that we all work on.
On top of this the people here are simply fantastic. From head intern, and fellow Wilton guy, Will Robertson to the boss himself, El Jefe Maximo, the crew at Zemoga, or the ZTeam as they like to be called, have created a fantastic work environment that is full of fun, passion, and experience. I cannot wait for what the rest of my time here will bring. And, if this is what the New York office is like, I cannot begin to imagine what wonders they have squirreled away at the Bogota office.
Nick and fellow intern Michael Chapey are going to Bogota next week. We can’t wait to share with you their updates and thoughts on all that happens at our office there!
