It’s not easy to be loyal to a website these days when you spend most of your time online following links from Twitter, etc. However, these are some of my favorite sites, which I try to visit at least once a week.
bench.li : These guys have a huge live collection of great designs. I really like the way they curate the content, making sure that every single piece they post is really classy, really elegant. You don’t see this kind of design that often anymore.
The Hype Machine : The Hype Machine is a music site I visit regularly to discover new music. Hypem looks for mp3 files in a really good selection of music blogs and plays them endlessly. You can play music by tags and save your favorite songs.
F*ck Yeah Headlines : Nice exercise of taking a random headline from the news and drawing a funny interpretation of it. Not an essential site but I found it recently and loved the idea, basically because I tend to imagine situations like these everyitime I read the news.
Behance : This site is essentially a tool for designers to put their portfolios online. The coolest part of it is that now it behaves more like a community, so it’s a great place to see what other designers are doing.
Wptuts+ : I enjoy doing some coding from time to time and I love having the ability to design something and make it come to life. I have some experience doing stuff in WordPress and this blog is a great source for tips and articles about this CMS.
When From Bogota With Love first started, the Z-team made a point of sharing their inspiration with you, be it books, websites or music that was pushing the innovation and creative process forward. We’d like to pick that up again.
