We’ve written a couple of times about the Colombian leg of World Usability Day – partly coordinated by the Zemoga’s own Natalia Vivas (above, left).  Not only was the Z-team involved in a big way – bringing to light the importance of everyone having access to what so many people take for granted – but several of our staffers attended.

So? What did they think about it?

Nelson Morales, UX director:

The Colombian chapter of World Usability Day was the biggest place to share knowledge and experience about Usability and Information Architecture practices, with
topics such as UX, IA, UCD, prototyping, accessibility, best practices, case studies, agile and cascade methodologies, among many others.

Zemoga’s presence at and support of the event was an opportunity to show our culture, work and leadership in the IA field.

Our impression from the attendees about Zemoga? This is the company where everybody wants to work☺.  Let’s keep on track!

Ricardo Garcia from our HR team:

Full of pride for all the fantastic effort reflected around this magnificent event supported by Zemoga! I’m a true believer that with the passing years, The WUD will grow and will be one of the most important events around tech in Colombia!

And what does Natalia, and Information Architect here, have to say, after all her hard work?

It was wonderful to have in Colombia, for the first time, a Usability Event.  The Usability Community in our country is proud to have had the support of Zemoga and the government. We exceed the expectations not only with the participation of the  national and international speakers but also with the assistance of more than 300 people, including e-government workers. This is the first step to center all Colombia in users, customers, experiences

It looks like it was a great success!

We can’t wait to play a part next year!
