Zemoga’s latest design intern, Nami Mo started at the beginning of the summer. However, in her brief time here, she has already designed stickers, notepads, and wrapping paper for us. We sat down with her to learn a few things about where the talented design student is coming to us from as well as a few “abstract” facts about her.
Tell us a little bit about the school you’re coming to us from.
I’m a Graphic Design major at the School of Visual Arts. I’m from Seoul, South Korea where I was born and grew up and now I’m living in Queens, NY. School of Visual Arts is one of the best art schools not only New York, but also in the world. There are a lot of creative faculty members and students at school.
How did you find Zemoga?
I was looking for an internship for the summer and I applied to Zemoga through College Central.
If you were to write a book about your own life, what would the title be?
It would be so wonderful if I publish my biography. But I have no idea now what the title might be.
What superpower would you want?
I would like to build some centers for abandoned dogs and help them in Korea. These days, there are some issues with animal abuse in my country. Even though we have shelters for dogs, they are too weak to help and protect the dogs.
If TV and the Internet didn’t exist, how would you fill your time?
I would sleep a lot and go around outside with a camera taking lots of pictures.
