Life From A Window

Jason Brandt; Wilton, CT

Zemoga has an office in Wilton Ct. An outpost really, but its quite cozy and functional.  My desk is situated next to a wall of windows that overlooks the town. Directly to the left of my desk rests a small, paper flag of Colombia (adhered to the window by a stubborn suction cup that has never let go).

The flag is nothing fancy, little more than a trinket really, but an ever-present reminder of warm weather and warm people not terribly far away.  It strikes me today that my little flag is very lucky. Because on this particular day, a day defined by 25 degree weather and a wind so wicked that it seeps through the windows and chills my toes, neighboring flags are dancing violently in the frigid air and no doubt jealous that their Colombian cousin is resting safely in Zemoga’s arms.

The thirteenth post in our series, looking at the world through the eyes of the Z-team.
