This past week has been an exciting one for the crew down in Bogota, as they hosted their first-ever Social Media Week.
Social Media Week Bogota was part of a series of conferences that took place simultaneously in five up-and-coming hubs for technology and innovation, which included Los Angeles, Milan, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City. The most talked-about topics range from political advertising, to cinema, to music education.
On Wednesday, September 22, Zemoga’s very own Innovation Director, Fabian Garzon, presented key facts about the current state of social media, shared his experiences developing projects for U.S. companies, and announced some initiatives that Zemoga is taking to push the boundaries of innovation.
Fabian went into detail about two projects in particular that leveraged social media to take well-known brands to the next level. One is the hugely successful Facebook community page we built for Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, and the other is the Facebook app that we designed for Continental Airlines.
Fabian’s presentation streamed live from the official Social Media Week website, and the Bogota team took some photos of the event.
