Today, the lovely Camila Pedraza, Zemoga´s new content editor/copywriter escorted us around the T Zone, the hip social center of Bogota. There was some amazing shopping, and Briana, Janifer, Camila, and I made away with some stunning scarves and other stylish loot.
The best part of the day had to be when we finally sat down to lunch at the famous Crepes & Waffles, which happens to be co-founder Alejandro Gomez´s favorite restaurant.
After a quick stop at the Zemoga office to check our e-mail (hey, we´re on the clock!), Fernando took us to a scenic overlook in the mountains where we witnessed a lightning storm over Bogota. The view was spectacular, and the storm was more impressive than terrifying.
Eventually it was time for us to head to Chia, where we walked around the historic center of town, taking in the architecture, the narrow cobblestone walkways, and the cultural nods to Chia’s Native American roots.
Our walk ended with dinner at El Galapago, which serves HUGE portions of beef and some mighty large burgers, which Fernando and I ordered.
