It’s no wonder this app’s URL is thecosmicmachine.com . As a fan of social networks I always found it exhausting to hunt for my social feeds every couple of hours to find out what my friends and family where up to. I wondered if there was a way to pack all my social networks into one place in a cool and sleek interface. That’s when I stumbled upon EventBox.
This cosmic machine integrates my favorite social networks:
•    Twitter
•    Facebook
•    Flickr
As well as other cool services like Google Reader feeds or any RSS feed from my favorite blogs, Digg, Identi.ca and Reddit. The user interface is super easy with a two column structure, one holds the lists of the social networks and services you want to follow and the other one shows the posts, tweets and photos from these sources with a quick preview.

EventBox doubles as a full fledged Blog reader and picture viewer with the option to always view the post in it’s website by a simple double click. Facebook and Twitter allow status updates right from EventBox as well as posting picture comments from Flickr.
A HUD (Heads Up Display) is a nifty feature for cruising for all my updates and all my options like forwarding, favorite star rating, replies and flagging.

All in all EventBox allows me to stay in touch with the social network beats without wasting precious time and it’s priced at $15 bucks during the beta. Ace.
