It’s nice to work at a place where these kinds of things happen. When I began to work at Zemoga a few months ago, someone invited me to a play bass in a jam session (he told me he was a drummer). Later, other guys from the Development Team came up to us asking to jam and in a couple weeks we decided to start a band.
But where is the magic here? Well, if you are a musician and you’ve played in a band before, you will know that it’s not easy to put three guys together and agree about what to play. I swear, I have less troubles with my girlfriend.
But, fortunately, all these issues have been solved and we are now focused on what we really like to do. Play Music.
Our band is called “Delicate Process”, because we discovered that if we want to play nice we have to take care of details. We decided to play under a Jazz base but mixing some styles and typical rhythms from Latin America, So you’ll hear blues and funk as well as songo, samba or bossanova in the same song. Cool, huh?
For the moment we’ve played at private events like our boss’ birthday and small parties, but we’ve had a great response at every show. We think it’s the best way to start and we really appreciate all the people who have believed in our band. Soon you’ll hear more from us.
Delicate Process, from Bogotá with love!
