DJ Edgerton
Principal

Long considered a pioneer in the field of interactive marketing and communications, DJ Edgerton started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Worldwide. It was there that he honed his skills in identifying the unique selling points and differentiators of brands, and leveraging them through strong creative. He has led the creation of national campaigns and interactive solutions for leading brands including Merck Medco, Novartis, Quest Diagnostics, Kobrand, Morgan Stanley, Nickelodeon and MTV Networks.

In 1992, DJ founded Underline All Media Design which was sold to Context Integration in 2000. It was there that he developed a proprietary creative methodology for interface design which was published in partnership with Rational Software. DJ’s work for clients has won multiple awards including being a finalist at Cannes in 2002, multiple Art Director Club awards, as well as The 2001 Grand Global for medical marketing and the 2001 Gold Award from The American Medical Marketing Association. In 2006 - Zemoga has won 6 interactive Awards including 3 AD Club Awards and 2 Art Directors Club Awards.

DJ brings to Zemoga the rare combination of marketing strategy, technology and creative expertise. His depth of knowledge in creating solutions for multiple vertical markets allows Zemoga to service a wide variety of clients. DJ is co-founder of Zemoga and head of U.S. operations.

Alejandro Gómez
Executive Creative Director

Alejandro Gomez is co-founder and head of Colombian operations. He is an award-winning designer and developer of interactive solutions and his work has been featured in multiple industry award showcases. Alejandro’s quiver of ground breaking work includes developing wireless interfaces for ATG, gaming sites for Polo/Ralph Lauren and Nickelodeon, and trading system interfaces for leading investment banks like ING, Morgan Stanley and Brown Brothers Harriman.

Alejandro brings a specialization in user centric design and technology solutions to Zemoga that leverage the relationship that clients have with their customers. He specializes in creating comfortable scenarios that motivate customers to act on and retain information.

Alejandro is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School’s multimedia program and his understanding of emerging digital technologies has been vital to companies striving to meet their business objectives.

Daniel V. Licht
Creative Director

Dan Licht is the Creative Director of Zemoga New York and has worked with the founders of Zemoga since 1998.

Over his 10 years of designing, developing and managing unique and functional user experiences, he has helped clients such as Ralph Lauren, Nickelodeon, Alizé, BMG, Smithsonian, Pfizer and many others to achieve a real value exchange with customers online.

Dan brings a fine arts and illustration background to Zemoga as well as a strong client strategy and management skill set to support all the detail required in interactive development



Federico Ortega
Project Office Director

Federico Ortega brings to Zemoga over 6 years of experience in business modeling, resource planning, requirements definition, product documentation and product delivery for local and multinational media, banking and pharmaceutical companies.

Fede is responsible for building, tracking and updating project schedules, defining detailed project scope, documenting IA models and reporting project progress for Zemoga’s client portfolio.

Prior to joining Zemoga, Fede was the head of a projects unit at Novartis, a multinational pharmaceutical company, where he led a team of engineers and designers in the setup and launch of extranet and desktop applications.



Michael Perry
Managing Director & Business Development

Michael Perry is a Managing Director at Zemoga and brings 15 years of agency account management experience. Michael began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi in the media department before moving to account management. Working on packaged goods accounts like Procter and Gamble and General Mills gave him a strong marketing foundation. On Wendy’s “Where’s the beef?” and Toyota’s “Oh what a feeling” campaigns he mastered the power of a well-executed creative strategy.

Michael develops both results oriented online marketing plans and benefit-driven creative strategies to increase their effectiveness for our clients. This not only maximizes customer loyalty and brand equity, but minimizes out of pocket cost for greater revenue gain.

As a Sr. V.P. Account Director at Avrett, Free & Ginsberg, Michael was on the Management Committee responsible for agency structure, staffing, budgets and compensation. Michael brings those valuable operational skills to Zemoga.

A graduate of The University of South Carolina, with a double major in Marketing and Management Information Systems, Juan C. Gamboa is part of Zemoga’s Strategic Account Management Team, bringing his knowledge and experience in the interactive space to offer clients a customized Zemoga services solution set. He is a co-founder of MadillGamboa IA, an interactive solutions venture servicing various niche markets in the San Francisco Bay Area. Juan has world class experience in interactive application development and has built an extensive network of satisfied clients, providing them with the unique and world-class interactive services that the Z team offers.
